Tane Herbert

I am a Mechatronics Engineering graduate from the University of Auckland with a lifelong passion for electronics, software development, and mechanical systems, driven by a strong interest in applying technology to solve real-world problems.

I have progressed from intern and part-time roles into a full-time position at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, gaining hands-on experience in medical device software development aligned with industry best practices. My work includes developing automated acceptance and regression test frameworks, as well as contributing to risk management activities to support the safe and reliable delivery of therapy to patients.

Beyond this, I have pursued entrepreneurial ventures, including projects in the eye-care sector, which have strengthened my skills in innovation, analysis, and strategic problem-solving.
